Look at this little guy...

Well, I can't help but check the hartforddogpound.com site quite frequently. Actaully, I'm addicted.

Because here's the thing: the dogs only have 10 days to find a home before being euthanized. So, I'm just trying to look out for these pups. (Actually, I aspire to become a veterinarian and open a small dog shelter that takes in deserving dogs that are slated for euthanization at the HDP.... but that's a long way off).

So here's this guy. He's got demodectic mange, so he's not the prettiest. He's only about 3 months old and was picked up as a stray in a park. You can read more about him at www.hartforddogpound.com.

But I have faith in the people at the Smilin' Pit Bull Rescue. They've been talking about him on the pbsmiles.com (or pb-smiles.com) forum. Thank god for those people.

My Pup.

A little intro for mis amigos:

I have a "vicious" pit bull of unkown origin (she's a pound pup). Her name is Gracie (or more affectionately, 'Grace Face', 'Poo', or 'Boob'.)

She may be a little over a year old, and she's red and white.

I really want to take her to agility classes this summer because it looks REALLY fun (and because I don't wanna gain 20 lbs in one summer again).

So basically, I love my pit bull. 'Nuff said for now.
